Market Pulse, Explained

Your live window into market news, watchlisted securities, and digital asset prices - three focused sub-pages that keep you informed without leaving the platform.

Welcome

Market Pulse is the part of SpiegelFin focused on staying informed. It does not manage holdings or calculate portfolio metrics - it helps you monitor market developments, track names you care about, and follow digital asset prices in one place.

Three sub-pages live here: News Feed for financial headlines, Watchlist for monitored securities, and Digital Assets for live token market data.

Watchlist

Watchlist is for names you want to monitor without treating them as live portfolio positions. It is useful for research pipelines, potential buys, earnings monitoring, and broader market surveillance.

Named watchlists

You can create separate watchlists for different purposes so research does not all live in one undifferentiated list.

  • Create a watchlist

Create a named list for a theme, strategy, or decision set, such as potential buys, earnings watch, or a sector-specific idea list.

  • Add a symbol

Search by ticker or company name and add the symbol to the selected watchlist.

  • Remove a symbol

Delete the symbol from that watchlist when it is no longer relevant to the research set.

  • Delete a watchlist

Remove the full list when the theme or workflow is no longer needed.

Symbol list

The symbol list is the working roster of names inside the selected watchlist. It helps you scan current prices, daily movement, and the set of securities currently under review.

Symbol detail panel

Selecting a symbol opens a deeper research surface built around several focused tabs.

  • Overview - High-level statistics and a short business summary.
  • Chart - TradingView-powered charting with technical tools and multiple timeframes.
  • Financials - Reported financial statement summaries.
  • News - Headlines specific to the selected symbol.
  • Ratings - Analyst sentiment and recommendation breakdowns.
  • Targets - Analyst target history and current consensus target levels.
  • Holdings - Whether the symbol also appears in your tracked holdings inside SpiegelFin.
Note

The detail panel is where Watchlist shifts from passive monitoring into active research. Use it when a name moves from curiosity into real diligence.

Digital Assets

Digital Assets is a market-data view for cryptocurrencies and tokens. It helps you monitor token pricing and market context, but it is not the same thing as your held crypto exposure in the Crypto Wallets section.

Token list

The token list gives you a broad market view across major digital assets. It is useful for scanning leaders, laggards, and general market conditions without looking at one token at a time.

Token detail view

Opening a token gives you a more complete market snapshot for that asset.

  • Price - Current market price in USD.
  • 24h Change - Price movement over the last 24 hours, shown in both absolute and percentage terms.
  • All-Time High (ATH) - The highest recorded historical price and when it occurred.
  • All-Time Low (ATL) - The lowest recorded historical price and when it occurred.
  • Market Cap - Total market capitalization based on circulating supply and current price.
  • 24h Volume - Trading activity over the last 24 hours across tracked venues.
Note

ATH, ATL, and volume are useful context numbers. They do not tell you whether a token is attractive by themselves, but they do help frame how stretched, liquid, or actively traded the market currently is.

Price chart

The token price chart helps you review trend and momentum over different time windows. For deeper technical chart work, the Watchlist research flow remains the stronger tool because it supports richer charting workflows.

Common workflows

  • Morning market check

Start with News Feed to scan the latest developments, then narrow to Markets, Stocks, or Crypto depending on which part of the market matters most that day.

  • Research a potential investment

Add the name to a watchlist, then use the detail panel to review statistics, chart behavior, news flow, analyst views, and target history together.

  • Track an earnings season theme

Create a dedicated watchlist for names reporting in the same period so you can monitor earnings-related updates as a grouped workflow.

  • Check crypto market leadership

Use the digital asset list and token detail views to identify which assets are moving, how much conviction sits behind that move, and where the token sits relative to historical extremes.

  • Investigate a specific topic quickly

Combine category filters and keyword search in News Feed to isolate a company, macro topic, or market theme with minimal noise.
